Our Leadership

& Story

At the heart of Umbuso Agency is Founder, CEO, and Creative Director Aaron (Umbuso) Evelyn. For Aaron, branding is more than a career it is a lifelong passion.

Growing up in Trinidad & Tobago, Aaron was immersed in the world of design through his father, a pioneering graphic artist and sign maker who crafted visual identities for many of the region’s top legacy brands. That early exposure instilled a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, visual communication, and the power of a strong brand image.

Building on that foundation, Aaron has spent over two decades mastering the industry across publishing, printing, advertising, and digital media. His career includes serving as Art Director and Creative Director at eyescream animation, as well as a decade-long partnership as Creative Director and Production Director at Ideabox Ltd.

Today, Aaron leads Umbuso Agency with a multidisciplinary perspective that bridges high-level creative vision with practical execution.
